Starbucks opens its first Signing Store in Penang. Starbucks Burma Signing Store is dedicated to fully employing deaf and hard-of-hearing partners (employees) to uplifting experiences that made them feel represented and gave them a sense of belonging. To align with Starbucks objectives, V-Series installed a community board, which was interactive to foster stronger bonds with the Starbucks community. V-Series also installed a Point of Sales Display for customers to rate for their experience, making customer feedback experience convenient. Most importantly, in order to cater for dead customers and baristas, V-Series specially designed collection trays that are built with LCD panels replace the usual Starbucks collection method in which barista calls out the customer’s name by informing customers when their orders were ready. This is to ensure all parties were enjoying the same joyful and convenient Starbucks experience.
