P2.6 Twin Outdoor LED Display @ Menara Public Gold

In a strategic effort to modernize its corporate headquarters and maximize brand exposure along one of Kuala Lumpur’s most critical transit corridors, Public Gold commissioned V-Series to deliver a complete “0-to-1” turnkey digital solution. Located at Menara Public Gold, the installation features two large-format outdoor LED displays, each measuring 5,000mm (W) x 4,000mm (H), positioned symmetrically on both sides of the main building entrance.

Facing the heavily congested arterial bottleneck of Jalan Tun Razak, these premium screens were deployed to pierce through the surrounding urban landscape, raising immediate public awareness of Public Gold’s active campaigns, promotions, and cultural events. V-Series executed the entire lifecycle of the project, taking absolute ownership of structural engineering, DBKL advertising licensing, rapid hardware integration, and system configuration.

Project Insight

Installing this large dual-screen outdoor LED system required very strict planning, fast execution, and careful coordination between multiple teams. V-Series was given an extremely tight deadline of just 3 days to complete the entire project, starting from structural fabrication all the way to LED cabinet installation, wiring, system setup, and final commissioning. To meet this target without compromising structural integrity or public safety, a continuous, round-the-clock workflow was implemented, utilizing two dedicated shifts operating day and night.

The heavy structural works, including steel cutting, alignment, and welding, were strategically carried out during nighttime hours. This was done to ensure maximum safety, as the main entrance area had no pedestrian movement at night. It also allowed the team to work more efficiently without daytime interruptions, while still maintaining strict safety controls and structural accuracy for the LED mounting framework.

During the daytime, the focus shifted to more precise works such as LED cabinet installation, electrical wiring, and system integration. These tasks were done within a controlled working zone to ensure that the building entrance remained fully operational for staff. Careful site management was required to ensure that no part of the installation blocked daily operations or created inconvenience to building users.

The project was also affected by frequent tropical rain, so extra care was taken to protect materials, equipment, and electrical systems during bad weather. Because the site is located along a busy road, all work was carefully planned to avoid blocking traffic or access. Despite these challenges, V-Series completed the installation within 72 hours while keeping the building entrance clean, safe, and fully accessible throughout the process.

• The displays feature a 5000nits brightness engine and 5000:1 contrast ratio alongside a advanced fanless design, which significantly reduces both operational noise and screen failure rates.

• Controlled via a high-performance Colorlight Controller network, allowing the twin screens to deliver perfectly mirrored playbacks or independent corporate messaging with zero latency.

• Both screens are managed through V-Series’ CLOUD based content management system – VigitSIGN, allowing Public Gold to remotely schedule content, monitor screen status, and track campaign performance in real time.

The Result

The completion of the twin P2.6 outdoor displays within a tight 3-day window stands as a powerful demonstration of V-Series’ rapid-deployment capability and engineering resilience.
